Indian MLA Vikramaditya Singh represents the Shimla Rural seat in the state of Himachal Pradesh. In both 2017 and 2022, he was elected as an INC candidate to the HP legislative assembly. Since January 8, 2023, he has also served as the Himachal Pradesh cabinet minister’s representative, overseeing the departments of public works, youth services, and sports.<\/p>
But Vikramaditya started actively participating in politics in 2013 and held the position of president of the state youth congress till 2017. Apart from that, Vikramaditya is the son of Late Virbhadra Singh, the former chief minister of Himachal Pradesh, and Mrs. Pratibha Singh, a member of parliament for the Mandi seat. He graduated with a post-graduation in history from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, and was born in Shimla on October 17, 1989.<\/p>
