Starting Cricket Career<\/strong><\/h2>

Rishabh Pant has been very fond of playing cricket since childhood. He started taking cricket training when he was only 12 years old. He used to travel to Delhi from his hometown with his mother every weekend to practise at Sonnet Cricket Academy,<\/strong> and Tarak Sinha<\/strong> was the coach at the Sonnet Cricket Academy. In Delhi, he and his mother did not have any suitable house to live in, so they used to stay at one of Moti Bagh’s<\/strong> Gurdwara.<\/p>

Pant’s coach advised Pant to play Under-13 and Under-15 cricket for Rajasthan, but this could not happen for some reason. After this, his coach advised him to improve his batting technique to become a great batsman in the future. Due to his better performance, he got a chance to play for the Delhi<\/strong> team under-19 against Assam,<\/strong> and he did not miss this opportunity and impressed everyone with his batting; he scored 35 runs<\/strong> in the first innings and 150 runs<\/strong> in the second inning.<\/p>

Rishabh Pant<\/strong> Domestic Career<\/strong><\/h2>

Due to his better performance as a batsman, he gets a chance to play first-class cricket in a very short interval of time. He debuted in first-class cricket on October 22, 2015,<\/strong> in the 2015-16 Ranji Trophy<\/strong>, and after one month, he also debuted in the 2015-16 Vijay Hazare Trophy.<\/strong> He scored many runs in the Ranji and Vijay Hazare Trophy. In the 2016-17 Ranji Trophy, he scored 308 runs<\/strong> while playing against Maharashtra, and in first-class cricket, he became the third-youngest Indian to do so. He also scored 100 runs in 48 balls<\/strong> on November 8, 2016, and became the first player to hit the fastest century in Ranji Trophy. After this, in the year 2017, he was made the captain of the Delhi team for the 2016-17 Vijay Hazare Trophy. He impressed everyone with his captaincy and batting abilities.<\/p>
