Political career<\/strong><\/h2>

Hari Singh Solanki, a seasoned Congressman, is linked to BJP’s Rivaba. She has also held the position of Karni Sena, a Rajput community organization. She headed the Karni Sena’s women’s branch.<\/p>

In 2019, she became an official member of the Bharatiya Janata Party prior to the Lok Sabha elections.<\/p>

In order to win over voters, Rivaba has been traveling through the villages in the Jamnagar and Saurashtra region quite a bit over the past few months. Ravindra Jadeja<\/a><\/strong> hails from Jamnagar. <\/p>

Rivaba is running for the Gujarat 2022 Assembly seat from the Jamnagar (North) constituency on a BJP ticket. As the BJP nominee for the constituency, she took the place of Dharmendrasinh Jadeja, the current MLA.<\/p>

There will be two rounds of voting in the 182-member Gujarat Assembly on December 1 and 5, with the results announced on December 8.<\/p>

The Election Commission said that after 17 rounds of voting, Rivaba Jadeja had received 88,110 votes, while Karshan Karmur of the Aam Aadmi Party, her closest competitor, had received 34,818 votes. With 23,088 votes, Bipendrasinh Jadeja of the Congress party came in third. <\/p>

After the constituency was divided during delimitation, it held its first election in 2012. It was won by the Congress, but in 2017 the BJP took it after the sitting MLA at the time, Dharmendrasinh Jadeja, also known as Hakubha in the local community, joined them.
