On April 18, 1992, in Bangalore, KL Rahul was welcomed into the world by KN Lokesh and Rajeshwari. Dr. K.N. Lokesh, the father of K L Rahul, was born in the Magadi taluk town of Kananur. With 1,033 first-class runs, he was the second-highest scorer in the domestic 2013\u201314 season. In the Duleep Trophy final for the 2014\u201315 season, Rahul represented South Zone against Central Zone, hitting 185 off 233 balls in the first innings and 130 of 152 in the second. <\/p>

After earning the player of the match award, he was selected for the Indian Test squad for the Australian tour. After Rahul returned from the Test series and batted 337 against Uttar Pradesh, he became the first triple-centurion in Karnataka history.
