Bryan was raised in Oologah, Oklahoma, but was born in Okinawa, Japan, while his family was stationed there as a result of a Navy posting. He has a sister named Mackenzie and is the son of Dewayne Bryan and Annette DeAnn (n\u00e9e Mullen) Bryan. Bryan, carrying on a family legacy, enlisted in the U.S. Navy at the age of 17 and served for 8 years on active service.
