Kristen Mary Jenner<\/a><\/strong>, an American media personality, socialite, and businesswoman, was born on November 5, 1955. She was previously known as Kardashian. Her birth name was Houghton. She became well-known for her role as a family member in the reality television series Keeping Up with the Kardashians (2007\u20132021). She and her family starred in several spin-off series as a result of the popularity of their program, including Rob & Chyna (2016), Khloe & Lamar (2011), Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami (2009), and Life of Kylie (2017). For the majority of the reality shows her family produced, she served as executive producer. She was the host of the pop culture-focused daytime talk show Kris for six weeks in 2013. Kris Jenner Early life<\/strong><\/h2>

On November 5, 1955, Mary Jo “M. J.” Shannon (n\u00e9e Campbell; born 1934), the owner of a children’s clothes store, and Robert True “Bob” Houghton (1931\u20131975), an engineer, welcomed Jenner into the world. She was the older of the two children.\u2014 M. J. and Bob separated when she was seven years old, leaving their younger sister Karen Casey (n\u00e9e Houghton; born 1958) to grow up with their mother. Businessman Harry Shannon (1926\u20132003), with whom M. J. eventually remarried, assisted in raising Jenner and her sister. Steven “Steve” Shannon is her half-brother, acquired from her mother’s union with Harry.<\/p>

The family relocated back to San Diego when Shannon’s business partner allegedly fled with all of the company’s funds three months after they moved to Oxnard, California. At the age of 19, Jenner lost her biological father in an automobile accident in 1975. In 1976, she spent a year working as a flight attendant for American Airlines.<\/p>

In 2007, Jenner contacted Ryan Seacrest with the intention of pursuing her family as the subject of a reality TV program. Seacrest, who had his own production firm, made the decision to develop the concept after seeing the success of the family-friendly television program The Osbournes. Jenner added some remarks regarding the potential series.<\/p>

Eventually, the show was chosen to premiere on the cable network E!, with Jenner serving as executive producer. The mixed families of Kardashian-Jenner were the subject of the show’s personal and professional lives. The show was a hit for its network, E!, and it led to the development of various spin-offs, such as Kourtney and Kim Take Miami (2009), where Jenner has appeared on multiple occasions as a guest. Kylie contributed $250,000 from her modeling earnings to sponsor Seed Beauty’s production of the first 15,000 lip kits. In February 2016, the business changed its name to Kylie Cosmetics and ramped up production to 500,000 kits. The company brought in over $300 million in revenue by the end of 2016.
