He is an Indian international cricketer. Washington is a left-handed hitter and a right-handed off-spinner. He has played as an all-rounder for his under-19 cricket team in India. Washington Sundar made his international debut for India on 13 December 2017 against Sri Lanka. He started his IPL career in 2017 with his Rising Pune Supergiant. IPL Career
Washington was selected to replace Ravichandran Ashwin in IPL team Rising Pune Supergiants when he made his IPL debut in 2017. He was named man of the match in his first IPL qualifier of 2017 between Mumbai Indians and Pune Supergiants where he took his 3 wickets for 16 runs. He currently has the best bowling stats in the IPL Championship.
Washington was acquired by Royal Challengers Bangalore at his 2018 IPL auction in January 2018. He was listed in India C for his 2018–19 Deodhar Trophy in October 2018. Sundar was purchased by Sunrisers Hyderabad for 87.5 billion yen at the 2022 IPL auction.
International Career
He joined Indian team Twenty20 International (T20I) in the series against Sri Lanka in November 2017. Earlier the following month, he also joined Indian team One Day International (ODI) in the same series.
He made his T20I debut in India at his 18th and his 80th, becoming the youngest player ever.
