Samantha Career
Samantha’s professional film career began with the Telugu film Ye Maaya Chesave, directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon. The romantic drama Baana Kaathadi (2010) starring Adharvaa was Samantha’s next movie. The actress had signed on for the third Tamil project, but due to delays in the completion of the first two, this one came out before the others. Together with Mahesh Babu, Samantha appeared in the big-budget Telugu film Dookudu (2012), which went on to become one of the most successful Telugu films ever made.
Following that, Samantha appeared alongside Nani and Sudeep in the live-action Telugu-Tamil bilingual film Eega (2012), in which she played a microartist who runs an NGO and seeks vengeance for the murder of her lover. Samantha then took on the role of Janaki Devi in the 2020 movie Jaanu, a remake of the 2018 Tamil film ’96. Her performance, as well as the movie, received favorable reviews.
She gave her first dance number in the 2021 film Pushpa: In the song “Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava,” The Rise collaborates with Allu Arjun. The actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu revealed to her followers on 29 October 2022 that she has been diagnosed with myositis, an autoimmune disease. Samantha shared a selfie of herself on Instagram as she was lying on a couch with an IV drip attached to her wrist.
The actor was watching the Yashodha teaser with her back to the camera and a microphone in front of her. Samantha made a heart-shaped gesture with her hands but kept her face hidden.

She continued, I’m starting to see that we don’t always have to put on a brave face. I’m still having a hard time accepting this vulnerability. The medical professionals are optimistic that I will soon make a full recovery. I’ve had good days and horrible days, both physically and mentally, and even on the days when I feel like I can’t go another day like this, that feeling eventually passes.
