Starting Cricket Career
Rishabh Pant has been very fond of playing cricket since childhood. He started taking cricket training when he was only 12 years old. He used to travel to Delhi from his hometown with his mother every weekend to practise at Sonnet Cricket Academy, and Tarak Sinha was the coach at the Sonnet Cricket Academy. In Delhi, he and his mother did not have any suitable house to live in, so they used to stay at one of Moti Bagh’s Gurdwara.
Pant’s coach advised Pant to play Under-13 and Under-15 cricket for Rajasthan, but this could not happen for some reason. After this, his coach advised him to improve his batting technique to become a great batsman in the future. Due to his better performance, he got a chance to play for the Delhi team under-19 against Assam, and he did not miss this opportunity and impressed everyone with his batting; he scored 35 runs in the first innings and 150 runs in the second inning.

Rishabh Pant Domestic Career
Due to his better performance as a batsman, he gets a chance to play first-class cricket in a very short interval of time. He debuted in first-class cricket on October 22, 2015, in the 2015-16 Ranji Trophy, and after one month, he also debuted in the 2015-16 Vijay Hazare Trophy. He scored many runs in the Ranji and Vijay Hazare Trophy. In the 2016-17 Ranji Trophy, he scored 308 runs while playing against Maharashtra, and in first-class cricket, he became the third-youngest Indian to do so. He also scored 100 runs in 48 balls on November 8, 2016, and became the first player to hit the fastest century in Ranji Trophy. After this, in the year 2017, he was made the captain of the Delhi team for the 2016-17 Vijay Hazare Trophy. He impressed everyone with his captaincy and batting abilities.

Rishabh Pant International Career
Due to his excellent performance in the IPL, he immediately got the chance to play for the Indian team. He started his international cricket career with a Twenty20 match. Rishabh’s name was included in the squad for the match against England in the year 2017, and due to this, for the first time in the year 2017, Rishabh played international matches for India. On February 1, 2017, at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore, he made his international debut for India in the third T20I match against England. When Rishabh was only 19 years and 120 days, he made his debut for India in T20, and due to this, he is the youngest player to do so.
After making his debut for India in T20I matches, he scored many runs, and due to this, many selectors were impressed by him. After one year of debut in T20I, he got a chance to debut in test cricket as well. On August 18, 2018, he got a chance to play his first test international match against England. Moreover, against England on September 11, 2018, he scored his first test century, and scoring a hundred against England, he became the first Indian wicket-keeper and second youngest wicket-keeper to do so.

Rishabh was bought by Delhi Daredevils in 2016. On the same day, he scored a century in 2016 Under 19 Cricket World Cup.
Since then, he has maintained his position as a crucial member of the IPL franchise’s squad. In 2016, Pant scored his maiden half-century against Gujarat Lions.
In 2018, he scored the highest individual score by an Indian cricketer in IPL history. He also became the second-youngest player to score a century in IPL. Rishabh Pant Accident
On 30th December 2022, Pant was hospitalised after he met with an accident on a highway in Haridwar via returning to Delhi. The initial reports say that he has sustained injuries after his car crashed into a divider and caught fire. The car was totally damaged. The pictures are floating on social media where one can see Pant has received injuries at the back and on his forehead. Pant was immediately taken to a nearby hospital and later was shifted to Max Hospital in Dehradun for better treatment.
The Chief Minister of Uttarakhand stated that Pant informed him that his accident on the Delhi-Dehradun highway happened due to a pothole that came in the way. The BCCI stated that he was going to miss most of the 2023 cricket season because he had suffered a serious knee injury.
