- Patidar plays for Madhya Pradesh Team and he has also played for Madhya Pradesh Under-19s and Under-22s Team.
- He made his first-class debut on 30 October against Baroda Team in the 2015–16 Ranji Trophy.

ODI Career
Rajat Patidar was named in the ODI squad for the South Africa tour of India in 2022 and the New Zealand tour of India in 2023. But he didn’t get a chance to bat on both occasions.
