Haryana’s Ambala cantonment is the birthplace of Mannara Chopra. Raman Rai Handa, Mannara’s father, is a lawyer in the Delhi High Court, while her mother designs jewelry. Her mother, the father of Priyanka Chopra, and the father of Parineeti Chopra are brothers. At the suggestion of her cousin sister Priyanka Chopra, she changed her name from Barbie Handa to Mannara Chopra. Mitali Handa, her younger sister, is a fashion stylist and a graduate of commerce.
