Jyothika Saravanan is an Indian actor and producer from India who has a reputation for her work in Tamil films. She has also been featured in a variety of Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi films. Her birth date was 18th October 1977, in Mumbai to Chander Sadanah and Seema Sadanah. Their father Chander is an actor and film producer.

Jyothika made her debut in 1998, in Priyadarshan’s Hindi film – “Doli Saja Ke Rakhna”. Her part in the film did not get much attention because the film did severely at the box office. She went on to produce a film that was set in South India. Her career began in Kollywood with a brief appearance in the film “Vaali” (1999).

The small part she played in the film earned acclaim from the crowd and filmmakers, too. The next few years were a golden period for her since she was given the female lead in films such as “Poovellam Kettuppar”, “Khushi”, “Rhythm” and “Snegithiye” All of which was successful in the theater.
