Dulquer Salmaan is an Indian actor, producer, and playback singer who is well-known. He also goes by the name DQ, and most of his work is in Malayalam films. He became famous for playing Charlie in the 2015 Malayalam film Charlie. Dulquer is the younger brother of Mammootty, a great Malayalam actor.
Dulquer Salmaan was born in Kochi, Kerala, on July 28, 1986, to a Muslim family. His mother, Sulfath Kutty, is a homemaker, and his father, Muhammad Kutty Paniparambil Ismail, aka Mammootty, is a well-known Indian actor and producer. Kutty Surumi, his older sister, is his sister. Dulquer Salman married architect Amal Sufiya in an arranged marriage on December 22, 2011. Maryam, a daughter, was given to the happy couple on May 5, 2017.
