- Salman Khan
Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai have had one of Bollywood’s most contentious partnerships. The two met while working together on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Hum Dil Chuke Sanam. The two were collaborating for the first time at this point. They were together for two years before it ended amicably. Salman was accused of abusing Aishwarya throughout their tense relationship.
Accounts at the time claim that Salman’s anger and possessiveness were the reason behind their breakup. The actress’s family disapproved of their relationship, despite Aishwarya’s approval from his family.
Salman’s behavior when he went to Aishwarya’s house and kept knocking on her door till she refused to let him in were so bad that her father filed a complaint against him. He not only caused a scene on the Chalte Chalte sets, but he also got into a fight with SRK, who later sent Rani Mukherjee in place of Aishwarya. Even now, people talk about their love story.
- Vivek Oberoi
While filming Kyun Ho Gaya Na, Vivek and Aishwarya got to know one another and eventually fell in love. On the inaugural season of Koffee With Karan, Vivek confessed their connection, even though Aishwarya never did. This was the first time the two had argued since Vivek made it public while Aishwarya preferred to keep it a private matter. After that, Vivek criticized Salman Khan in a news conference, which led to the breakup of Ash and Vivek.
On Farah Khan’s shows, Vivek admitted that holding the news conference was a mistake, but that the people who had supported him in doing so and for what he did thereafter had deserted him, and their relationship had also ended.
- Husband
Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya first met in 1999 while taking pictures for their first joint project, Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke (released in 2000). I expected a diva because this was our first time working on a project together. Rather, Abhishek said in a conversation that she was very kind. The two remained friends after the film’s debut because they were comfortable in each other’s presence. After Dhaai, Abhishek and Aishwarya worked together on Rohan Sippy’s Kuch Naa Kaho in 2003.
But their romance didn’t really take off until they started shooting Umrao Jaan in 2005 and 2006. That’s where it all happened, Abhishek said in a recent interview. She had therefore been a very good friend, and we had worked together on multiple movies, Abhishek had said when talking about their connection. Together, the forces of the cosmos brought us all together.
