She started singing at the age of four. In the year 2006, Neha was an 11th-grade student, when she got an opportunity to appear in the audition of the music reality TV show Indian Idol Season 2. She got selected in the audition and thus missed her studies. She could not win in Indian Idol and dropped out of the top eight, but with her singing, she attracted everyone’s attention. After this, Neha took part in the superstar which she won in the year 2008.

• After Indian Idol, Neha started her career in the music industry. Her debut album ‘Neha The Rockstar’ came out in 2008, with music director duo Meet Brothers.
• In 2014, she sang Sunny Sunny with Honey Singh. He got a taste of success with this song.
• In the same year, she sang a song London Thumkada in the film ‘Queen’, which was also a big hit.
• In 2015, she appeared in another song Car Music Singing, which gave a rocking performance. Neha played a singing role in the Bengali movie ‘Magic Mamoni’.
• Neha’s song Tukur Tukur proved to be a super hit in the movie ‘Dilwale’. He sang the song Chitta Kukkad in the film ‘Loveshuda’.
• Neha sang Kala Chashma song in the film ‘Bar Bar Dekho’ in 2016, in which Katrina Kaif acted.

Struggle

Neha’s participation in Indian Idol is well known. She was one of the finals, but she was later booted off the show. However, this didn’t prevent Neha from realizing her goals. She started singing at Jagratas in Delhi at the young age of four, along with her siblings Sonu and Tony Kakkar, without having had any formal training.

Controversy

When Neha announced her relationship to end, Himansh trolled on Twitter. After this Neha came out in defence of her ex-boyfriend and said that the two ended the relationship by mutual agreement. Neha also became very emotional in the media many times about her breakup.

Aditya Narayan Controversy

Aditya Narayan, a well-known musician, and actor, and Neha Kakkar’s name were supposedly connected. Aditya served as the show’s host, and Neha served as a judge. Aditya made advances toward Neha throughout the season, and when rumors of their marriage began to circulate on social media, the PR ploy became out of control. 

Despite the fact that it was all in good spirit, not everyone liked it. During the same season of Indian Idol, a competitor forcibly planted a kiss on Neha’s cheek while claiming to be her biggest fan, causing a tremendous uproar. Everyone was stunned when this occurred on national television. Aditya, who was also on stage, quickly stopped him for misbehaving.
