- In 2015, he was charged with disorderly conduct for encouraging the crowd to rush toward the stage at the Lollapalooza. That same year, at a separate event, a man took his shoe while he was crowd-surfing. In response, Scott asked the crowd to attack the person while also spitting at him. In 2017 and 2019, people were injured when the crowd went out of control during his performance.
- In November 2021, several people were left injured while at least ten people lost their lives in a crowd collapse at the Astroworld Festival in NRG Park. The incident happened during the first night of the festival when the crowd went out of control. However, it was later revealed in the video footage that Scott had done little to prevent the tragedy and kept the performance going even when the crowd was pleading with him to stop. To make matters worse, he incited the fans to “get wild” and “crazy” despite people getting crushed. As a result, Scott was heavily criticized for his reckless behavior that cost people their lives. He was also sued for $1 million by Kristian Paredes who was one of the victims of the incident.
- In March 2023, he assaulted a sound technician while performing at a nightclub. He also damaged thousands of dollars worth of sound equipment before he left the club.
